A cast of around 40 people will put on the musical, adapted from the film starring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando.
Backed by a student and staff band lead by musical director David Shaw, the group will take its audience on a trip into the underworld of gambler Nathan Detroit, played by Jaydh Gounden.

Needing $1000 to pay a garage owner to host his big dice game, Mr Detroit bets Sky Masterson, played by Max Tracey, that he cannot get the virtuous Sarah Brown, played by Amelia Bland out on a date.
Meanwhile, Mr Detroit's longtime fiancée, Adelaide played by Keele Hudson, wants him to go legit and put a ring on it.

Drama, history, English and dance teacher Wendy Campbell, who takes producer and director credits, has worked with the students since auditions early in term four last year.
Mrs Campbell said the students have given up lunch times and hours after school to bring the show to the Orange Civic Theatre in March.
Guys and Dolls will be performed on the evening of March 22 and a matinee and evening show the following day.
