Mitch Marsh says he's relaxed and ready to show his fighting spirit as he aims to help revive the Perth Scorchers' ailing finals hopes.

Marsh has endured an international summer to forget, with the maligned allrounder notching just one Test and failing to crack an ODI appearance.
The fall from grace has come less than four months after he was named Test vice-captain.
Marsh has also been overlooked for selection for the upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka, meaning he has returned to Perth for BBL duties.
The 27-year-old is desperate to regain his place in the Australian Test and one-day sides, and he knows the only way to do it is with wickets and runs.
He has a chance to get things rolling on Thursday night when he captains the Scorchers against Sydney Thunder in a must-win BBL clash at Optus Stadium.
"Personally, you want to be playing as much cricket as you can and it hasn't gone to plan for me," Marsh said.
"That's the way professional sport goes, and that's the way cricket goes sometimes.
"You can sulk. Or you can get on with it with a smile on your face and train your arse off and enjoy it - and that's what I'm doing."
Marsh said his return home had been refreshing.
"Certainly playing for Australia you're in the bubble," Marsh said.
"We've all seen how scrutinised the Test team was throughout the series (against India).
"Shaun and I cop a fair bit more than most, but that's part and parcel of the game."
"I came home on the weekend, get to see my family, get out on the boat, and that always puts a smile on my face."
The Scorchers sit in last spot on the table with a 3-6 record.
But only two wins separates the Scorchers from the second-placed Sixers, with all teams apart from Hobart in an almighty scrap for finals berths.
The return Jason Behrendorff and the Marsh brothers is a massive boost to the injury-hit Scorchers.
David Willey (shoulder) returned to England early to heal up in time for an ODI series against the West Indies, while Ashton Agar (finger) and Cam Green (back) will miss the rest of the BBL season.
Wicketkeeper/batsman Sam Whiteman will miss two to three weeks with a quad injury.
Marsh said the Scorchers were desperate to gate crash the finals.
