Police who were investigating a suspected stolen vehicle and property dispute charged a man who was at the scene with possession of a “small amount” of cannabis and a knife.

Andrew Peter Enslow-Breitenbach, 28, of Tobruk Crescent, was sitting in a parked Toyota Camry in Burreburry Crescent at 840am on December 4 when police noticed him and searched him.
On Monday he was sentenced in Orange Local Court where he was fined $110 for possession of 0.8 grams of cannabis leaf and $110 for possession of a folding pocket knife.

According to police, the officers initially spoke to two people who were known to police and saw unknown people, including Enslow-Brietenbach, sitting in the back of the Camry.
He told police they were waiting for a friend and was searched at the scene.
Magistrate David Day said the cannabis was a small amount and although he pleaded guilty early, he was on non-conviction bonds at the time.
