A brilliant run from favourite Rawson’s Crossing saw it outlast a hard charging run from the back of the pack by Bulletson to claim the opening race at Towac Park on Tuesday.

Orange trainer Alison Smith’s Eyesaw led from the start of the 1280 metre race however Rawson’s Crossing took over once they turned for the run to the post.
Ridden by Greg Ryan Rawson’s Crossing was chased home by Bulletson with Chad Lever onboard.
Eyesaw eventually finished fourth.
Worldly Pleaure with Eleanor Webster-Hawes riding won the second race, another handicap over 1280 metres.
The Dean Mirfin-trained horse had to survive a protest by the second-placed Terra Reign which was dismissed.
Terra Reign, trained by Bjorn Baker beat Pretty Song home with Bounty Belle in fourth.
The third race, over 1400 metres, was won by Directory.
The Nick Mitchell trained horse started from barrier one.
Race favourite Pamela, trained by Clare Cunningham was second with Chad Lever riding.
Recital, trained by Darren Hyde finished third.
Race five, over 1000 metres, saw the end to Greg Ryan’s dominance with his ride Sonic Girl finishing fifth.
Reprimand, with Grant Buckley in the saddle, won from favourite Alvin Purple. ridden by Chad Lever, with Escebee finishing third.
Reprimand is trained by Cameron Crockett.
