Side Manager Rod Guy said his charges were excited to come to Orange and take on the best.
However, he said what they are looking forward to more is the chance to band together and get out to meet new people.
On the field, Guy said Charlie Condon and Noah Harper would lead the way for the side.
Both Condon and Harper have been selected for the Country vs City Twenty20 clash.
Guy said Condon was a strong opening bowler, while Harper is a top-order bat who can “move it a little” with the ball in hand.
“It’s the first time I’ve been able to head up so I’m excited to see the facilities and what it’s like,” Guy said.
The carnival starts Monday, when Wagga Wagga play Blacktown Gold.
