There will be one more train to Lithgow at 4.24am.
Residents are encouraged to use public transport as major roads leading into Sydney Harbour will be closed from 2pm and the majority of the city roads will be closed by 7pm.
More restrictions will be in place from 11pm to help the large crowds move around after the midnight fireworks.
Orange residents can avoid roads and jump on to the T1 Western Line, which will run to the city stations every 15 minutes from Penrith, and every 30 minutes from Richmond from 2pm until midnight.
