If you’re something of a pub trivia expert, or just like carrying a swag of unrelated facts around in your head, then you’ll know the answer.
Chances are you find the logic of number puzzles pleasantly hypnotic. You probably enjoy the attractive symmetry of crosswords, too.
Maybe you’re trying to keep the brain neurons firing as long as possible, building new mental pathways one conundrum at a time.
Whatever the reason you’re a puzzles fan, you are sure to be happy with the latest addition to the Central Western Daily website.
We’ve had crosswords, Sudoku and trivia quizzes in our newspaper for years, and now the age of digital puzzles is here.
In the top left of the www.centralwesterndaily.com.au homepage (top right if you’re reading on mobile) you’ll find a direct link to our new Puzzles page.
The three interactive puzzles – Crossword, Sudoku and Ultimate Trivia – are updated daily and can be played on any digital device: desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile.
Online puzzle natives will find the grids range from easy to challenging, with all the navigation and hint features you would expect.
Newbies to the digital landscape should quickly adapt. The puzzles, provided by respected Australian puzzle company Lovatts, are logical and intuitive.
The puzzles are free to all Central Western Daily readers, but only for a limited time. To ensure ongoing, unlimited access sign up to become a digital subscriber.
Full website access costs just $3.75 a week, less if you take out an annual subscription.
In addition to your daily fix of puzzles, you’ll be connected with the local news that matters in the Orange and Central West communities, the latest in national and world news and sport, lifestyle and entertainment features - all available whenever or wherever you want to read it.
(Oh, and the answer to the question above? Crossword puzzles. Of course).
