Gallery director, Madi Holborow will offer tips on how to create a Christmas wreath using long lasting native flowers, eucalyptus leaves, wire and branches.
Mrs Holborow said the workshops – which are sometimes run over a glass of sparkling – are a fun and creative way for people to spend time with their friends and family during the festive season.
“Our workshops are always fun and super relaxed. They’re suited to absolute beginners through to more advanced levels,” she said.
“I always find having no prior knowledge actually gives you an advantage.”
Mrs Holborow said the groups use native plants because they dry beautifully and hold their colour and shape longer than other flowers.
“Also I just love natives. There's a beautiful sculptural quality to the foliage and flowers that works really well for wreaths.”
While the Thursday night workshop is at max capacity, the Corner Store Gallery is taking bookings for its two sessions on Saturday and Sunday session via its website.
