The pool had been empty for more than month while it was repainted, with staff at the Orange City Council-run facility hailing the finished product as “fantastic”.
“Thank you all for supporting us and we appreciate everyone's patience,” the statement on the pool’s Facebook page read.
“Come on down, it's a warm 30 degrees.”
In September the toddlers’ pool was closed for the better part of a month while its sand filters were replaced.
In the course of that work being done it was decided to repaint the pool.
Contractors also coated the light-coloured gravel in the beach area, while the dark-coloured gravel leading into the pool remained in place.
