Both sides took on the Blue Mountains at Jack Brabham Park, with the former outfit bouncing back from their first-up loss to Bathurst to score an 85-run win over the Cattle Pups.
Charlie Tink (75) and Murray Fisher (61) led the charge as Orange piled on 7-208 before star spinner Gus Cornish snared 5-17 from his six overs, helping the black and golds restrict the Blue Mountains to 9-123 in reply.
D’Arcy Hamling also proved a handful with the ball, taking 3-16 from 10, while Arnie Tancred (1-5) picked up Orange’s other wicket.
Orange’s under 12s also suffered a first-up loss to Bathurst but couldn’t quite find their way into the winners’ circle against the Cattle Pups. After restricting the Blue Mountains to 95 they were skittled for 65 in reply.
The season continues on November 25, Orange’s under 16s play their next game that day too.
