Why not more?
For more than 10 years now, Orange has made itself a name with its excellent mountain bike trails in Kinross Forest, and now at the Lake Canobolas MTB park.
The cross country guys have their lake tracks and their trails at Kinross, Orange needs a downhill scene, and this is our chance to make it.

From local races to national championships, Orange's trails have had it all, however another key audience is missing from our diverse MTB lifestyle.
Downhill mountain biking is one of the sport’s fundamental disciplines, and has brought many people to the sport.
The appeal of big jumps, treacherous riding, fast and flowing sections, and being able to ride down stuff that people wouldn't even consider walking down are some of the few draw cards to the sport.
Draw cards that could bring Orange an incredible new industry.
Downhill trails aren’t like those at the lake or at Kinross. These trails are rough, tough, steep and normally only go one way – down.
So as a voice of the community (or at least those of us who ride), please don't fill the incredible slopes of Mount Canobolas purely with cross country trails.
Bring the people what they want, and give the community something amazing.
The cross country guys have their lake tracks and their trails at Kinross, Orange needs a downhill scene, and this is our chance to make it.
