MAP: Where the offences occurred …
As police entered the premises they saw the teenager ride the bike on one of the showground roads and onto a field before he saw the police, stopped, got off and walked towards them.
Because of his age at the time of the offence the now 18-year-old was sentenced as a child.
He was convicted and fined $55 for riding without a driver’s licence, $55 for riding without a helmet, $55 for riding an unregistered motorbike, and $55 for riding an uninsured motorbike.
He was also lectured about why he needed to have a licence and insured vehicle.
