Children over the age of six are invited to attend the school holiday activity between 9am-3pm this week, with the library providing a huge range of new and old favourites to keep them entertained.
Librarian Sean Brady said some of the newest games are Tokaido, Photosynthesis, Hive and Carcassonne.
“It’s an opportunity for children and their parents to become acquainted with new and different types of boardgames,” he said.
The event is free to attend but bookings are essential through Eventbrite.
Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult and attendees are not required to stay for the entire day.
