But there’s another worry for pedestrians and people concerned about the environment.
Abandoned shopping trolleys have this week taken over a nature strip in force.
It started with one left beside the East Orange channel in Summer Street last week and doubled over the weekend.
But when the numbers of trolleys, from two different stores and both coin-operated and free varieties, reached eight on Monday they became an eyesore.
And a call to the trolley collection company has so far not worked.
The next day the number had grown to nine.
