The two blues’ quartet headlines Orange Hawks’ undefeated under-18 league tag side which tackles Mudgee in the inaugural grand final from 9am, before backing up as key members of the two blues’ open tag outfit, too.
Hawks’ senior side takes on Bathurst St Pat's in their main game and both Baker and Morgan believe the experienced Saints will be tough grand final opponents.
But their initial focus will be on the Dragons – a side the Hawks girls are yet to meet in 2018.
“It started a bit after opens and we didn’t know a lot about it … but we threw a team together and look at where we are now," Morgan said.
Baker believes twin titles are within her grasp.
“I think if we put in the hard yards, definitely,” she said.
“It’ll be tough against St Pat’s though. Their experience makes them tough to beat.”
Not that Hawks are without experience though, and when the going gets tough the young two blues turn to one of their most important players for guidance.
“Fordy,” the pair said in unison in reference to Group 10 and Western Rams league tag gun Bec Ford, when asked who the key player is.
“She’s our captain and always leads the team and looks after us.”
The Group 10 under-18 league tag decider kicks off at 9am, before the senior league tag clash from 10am.
