An online survey has been launched to help give authorities an understanding of the extent and impact of illegal hunting on private land.
“We need your help to gather information that will guide a coordinated approach to combat illegal hunting in NSW,” a post to the NSW Police Rural Crime Facebook page stated.
“We are getting great information and results in relation to illegal hunters, but we really want information from those that experience the impact of this crime.”
The survey should take around eight minutes to complete and will be available until November 30, 2018.
The NSW Illegal Hunting on Private Land Survey is a project being conducted by the NSW Department of Primary Industries Game Licensing Unit, NSW Farmers Association and NSW Police Force.
