One photo, showing Zina D’Aquino in the family’s Bathurst Road delicatessen which was popular among migrants for selling items not found in other Orange food shops, features the back of a young boy’s head.
Member for Calare Andrew Gee revealed the identity of the boy at an unrelated press conference in the museum last Friday.
The boy, who it turns out was working in the shop at the time, is now well-known in Orange.
He said it was his first job away from the family farm.
And he said his ears are the giveaway to his identity.
