If there was one particular player Orange Wanderers have become fed up with facing in this year’s men’s Premier League Hockey season, it has to be Lithgow Panthers’ Taylor Dolbel.

You’d forgive the young Orange side for thinking there was a glitch in the matrix at Orange Hockey Centre on Saturday afternoon, as Dolbel speared in a hat-trick to inspire Panthers to victory, the same way he did back in round seven at the same venue.
He scored all of Panthers’ goals in that game though, whereas on Saturday he had plenty of support as Panthers went on to win 6-nil.
Jacob Townsend also scored a double while Tom Luchetti found the back of the net too, the Wanderers were obviously unable to score any of their own.
While the Orange is well and truly out of finals contention it was an important win for Panthers, the Lithgow outfit extended the gap between them and third-placed Lithgow Zig Zag to eight points to all but lock up a top two spot with three games remaining in the regular season.
