The former Orange High School student has turned his attention to teaching since his association with the Australia’s Got Talent winning, Justice Crew came to an end in 2014.
Alongside partner and So You Think You Can Dance winner, Pania Taku, Mr Rodriguez will run a 10 week hip hop and commercial dance intensive at PCYC.
Mr Rodriguez said stepping in to the role of teacher feels like coming full circle, after finding his love of dance through lessons at the centre 10 years ago.
“They gave me a place to express myself without being judged, a place to get down on the flood and build strength, rhythm and to have fun,” he said.
Kicking-off Friday, the classes are for both experienced and novice dancers.
“I was the most uncoordinated person when I started. All you need is a good teacher,” Mr Rodriguez admitted.
