The editorial covers many aspects of the way debates are held in Federal Parliament, at the present time.
I believe that most Australians are fed up and disgusted with the personal attacks made during parliamentary debates. It's probably one of the many reasons why people have become so disillusioned with politics and politicians.
One editorial sentence that jumped out at me was: “it's a sort of arms race of nastiness, and it's hard to image who's going to stop it”.
Says it all, really.
