Every day you hear about the plight of the farmers. It’s either drought, too hot, too cold or floods. It is a very hard job and why someone would want to do it is beyond me.

There is also always talk of ways to help them, like low interest loans. Even if it was a no-interest loan, it would still need to be paid back, but how and when.
Why not let farmers go on the equivalent of the dole. Let them have the monies and the benefits that unemployed people have.
Let these benefits continue until they are back on their feet again and able to make ends meet. When this happens then the benefits end.
This government is very quick to give illegal immigrants these same benefits. These people have contributed nothing to this country of ours, albeit it a very dry one at this time.
We need to vote out a large number of the do-gooders who are running this country financially into the ground.
I doubt there is another country in the world who just gives out financial assistance to anyone who turns up here.
We really need to have a look at ways to help those who truly deserve and need it, not just to those who have the people with the biggest mouths on their side.
