Anytime Fitness Orange took part in a 24-hour treadmill challenge to raise funds for Suicide Prevention Australia and the National Suicide Prevention Research Fund.
Orange Club Manager James Sanders congratulated members and non-members for “scrapping hard for every dollar” to exceed its $3000 target.
“I’m really proud of the efforts of everyone and so glad that the event allowed people to get behind something they ordinarily might not,” Mr Sanders said.
The efforts of 29 participants kept runners on two treadmills constantly from 3pm on Friday until 3pm on Saturday – Mr Sanders put in a massive 6.5 hours alone.
