On Thursday visitors will get a different perspective on the display prepared by consultative curator Sandra McEwen over seven months.
As part of International Museum Day there is a one-off after-work opening from 5.30pm-7pm.
With live music, wine, beer and some food available, people will be able to taste what the exhibition is all about, local produce and its fascinating history.
Orange City Council Services Policy committee chair Kevin Duffy said it was a unique opportunity.
“Lovers of history, culture and live music are invited to come along and check out the new exhibition in a relaxed social setting,” he said.
