Henry, 26, and Anna Terry, 24, made the final six but the Deloraine siblings said in the end they were “out cooked”.
Anna said they were pretty “meat and veg” sort of kids so they learnt a lot from the other contestants and got more experimental as the competition went on.
“We are really good mates with Stella and Jazzey and we would love for them to win but we have huge respect for everyone,” Anna said.
Henry said everyone in the top four could cook and that they got along well with everyone who was left.
“We didn’t have a lot of confidence at all. If there was something we had a shred of confidence in it was the truffles,” Henry said.
Anna said they felt pressure using the truffles but because they had been using them for a long time there was a sense of familiarity and security.

Henry said they didn’t pretend they were amazing cooks going in and it was hard but for different reasons than they initially thought.
“It was so much more intense then we thought … the intensity was much more insane than we could have imagined,” Anna said.
They both agreed the takeway challenge, which involved the teams each making five different meals and delivering them around Sydney, was the hardest.
Henry said the challenge was “mission impossible”.
While they were filming in Sydney their mum and dad kept things going on the truffle farm, which they said they were very grateful for.
“We are very lucky to have them here otherwise it would not have been possible to do what we did,” Anna said.
They both also said they never doubted their brother/sister relationship before entering the competition.
“It was strong enough to get though anything and we both went in with the head space that if anything did go wrong between us that we would walk away because our relationship is more important than a cooking show,” Anna said.
Henry said he was flat out with the truffles at the moment, trying to get everything back on track but was looking at opening up a shop to let tourists see what they do and how truffles are farmed.
