What did you want to be when you were little? My childhood dream was to be a professional soccer player or firefighter.

What other jobs have you had? Retail and hospitality.

Job title: Pharmacist in charge.

Job description: Providing aged care services, dispensing medicines, counselling and giving medical advice.

What training have you done? A Bachelor of Biochemistry and Master of Pharmacy at Newcastle University.

Why did you choose this job? I have a passion for science and helping people. This job merges both my passions. 

What’s the worst thing about your job: The worst part is there isn’t time to help everyone, I wish I could do more.

Best thing about your job: When a customer smiles and says the advice I have given them was truly beneficial to their life. This job also provides me with the ability to help others and improve their quality of life.

Where do you want to be in five years’ time? On a tropical island by a pool with a cocktail in one had and a beautiful lady in the other. One can only dream. Probably I will be right here, with a bit of medicine in one hand and a blood pressure monitor in the other.
