THREE people have been hospitalised after a crash to Orange’s south-east on Thursday evening.

The crash happened at about 6pm when a westbound utility and an eastbound sedan collided on the Mitchel Highway at Lucknow, 10 kilometres from Orange, near the intersection of Phoenix Mine Road.
A man and woman travelling in the sedan sustained serious injuries, with the man being described as being in a critical condition.
They were taken to Orange hospital, before being airlifted to Westmead Hospital.
The male driver of the ute was taken to Orange hospital suffering chest pain.
Officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit will commence an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Authorities put detours in place soon after the incident, with motorists diverted around the crash site via Milthorpe Road, Whiley Road and Forest Road through Spring Hill.
According to livetraffic.com.au the road was reopened at about 1am.
