But that’s not a problem dermatologist Dr Michelle McRae will face with her practice, Pinnacle Dermatology, which has just opened in Summer Street next to Cook Park.
Dr McRae said she expected there would be a nine-month waiting list for people wishing to see her but would try to see urgent cases as swiftly as she could.
“We could have another two or three dermatologists in the area and I would still be completely booked,” she said.
Dr McRae said there would be about 350,000 people in the area she will cover which extends across western NSW.
She said she was looking forward to her first time as a solo practitioner after working at another clinic in Orange.
Dr McRae said she would look to expand into having a second dermatologist at the practice but there was a shortage of people willing to work outside of Sydney.
The practice will be open from 8.30am-4.30pm Monday-Friday.
NEW LEASE OF LIFE
A former Chinese eatery that created a bit of mystery around town is up for sale.
The 50-seat Chinhwa restaurant in Summer Street closed a few years ago with furniture in place, tables set, a Christmas tree on display and business cards on a wall all in view from the street.
Real estate agent Chris Gryllis of Chris Gryllis Real Estate said it would be auctioned on site at 11am on February 10.
“The owner has decided to retire and is selling the building,” he said.
He said the building would also suit becoming office space.
TAKE A BITE
Queensland burger chain Burger Urge has plans to open in Orange, a spokesman has revealed.
“Orange is certainly on our [Burger Urge’s] radar and we would certainly consider opening a store within 12 months,” he said.
The spokesman said they had 26 stores and were expanding into NSW.
They are currently seeking someone to run its vacant Coffs Harbour franchise.
