According to Orange police the man was driving a vehicle on Icely Road when he drove into a telegraph pole.
Police were called to the accident and the man failed a roadside breath test and later provided a breath analysis reading of 0.131.
His licence was suspended by police and he will appear before Orange Local Court on December 11.
Elsewhere around Canobolas Local Area Command;
- A 23-year old man was charged in with mid-range drink driving on Saturday. Police allege the man was driving on Nile Street when he was pulled over and failed a roadside breath test and later provided a breath analysis reading of 0.091. His licence was suspended by police and he will face Orange Local Court on Monday, December 11.
- Police charged a 51-year-old woman with break, enter and steal on Saturday. Officers say the woman smashed a window and entered a house on Raines Place and took property. She will face Orange Local Court on November 27.
- Police are investigating a theft from a car on Tobruk Crescent between 9pm on Saturday and 11.55am on Sunday. A handbag, cards and medication were stolen.
- Police arrested a 40-year-old man over outstanding warrants for being armed with intent and stalk, intimidate intended fear offences on Sunday.
- A 27-year-old man was charged with assault, damaging property and behaving in an offensive manner in public on Saturday. Police say the man was at licensed premises in Glenroi Avenue when he became involved in a physical altercation. According to officers, he made threats towards a person while holding a bottle and damaged a door. The man will appear before Orange Local Court on November 11.
- A potted plant was stolen from a Spring Street address between 4.30pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
