James Sheahan Catholic High School principal Mark Pauschmann said the school was vandalised with graffiti that contained hate messages that do not reflect its values of compassion, courage and hope.
“Anti-Christian, anti-Islamic, neo-nazism, homophobic and political statements, which have hurt our school community are abhorrent and we are going through a healing time to reassure our students that this is not what our society is about,” Mr Pauschmann said.
“We thank the community for their thoughts and support as we remind our students that a few negative individuals out there do not reflect the majority of good decent and hardworking citizens in our society.

“The students reaction to this has been one of dismay and the staff have made themselves available to reassure students of our position which is consistent with respect and love towards our community.
“The NSW Police have been informed and security around the school has been increased.”
