Cody Jye Cornelissens, 21, formerly of Richards Place, pleaded guilty to five charges of driving while disqualified as well as other driving offences when he was brought before magistrate Terry Lucas.
His solicitor Gerry Stapleton said Cornelissens had been apprehended in the early hours while driving in Orange with three passengers.
He was arrested for breaching his bail conditions by driving.
“He came to attention because [police] were familiar with him … not for the manner of his driving,” Mr Stapleton said.
“He lives in Manildra with his mother, he doesn’t have access to a motor vehicle, he got rid of it.
“He’s aware he faces a possible jail sentence for this as he’s been on remand before.”
Cornelissens had also been disqualified from driving by Mr Lucas earlier in the year.
However, Mr Lucas opted to give him 12-month suspended jail sentences and two-year driving disqualifications for four of the disqualified driving charges.
The sentences were given to him for driving while disqualified at 2.20am on Monday morning as well as at 5.50pm on June 29, 7pm on June 25 and at 4.50pm on April 25.
For the June 29 offences that took place on Oxley Place, he also received a $100 fine for an additional disqualified driving charge, a $100 fine for driving an unregistered Ford Falcon and $100 fine for driving an uninsured car.
He was also fined $500 for giving a false name when police stopped him for the June 25 offence.
