The family has continued attending ever since so Early Years Music School owner Ruth Thompson has seen the limitations Piper faces due to infantile epilepsy.
When Ms Thompson heard the family was trying to buy a stander to strengthen Piper’s legs in the hope she will one day be able to walk, she offered to host a children’s music concert.
On Saturday, Ms Thompson brought a group of musicians together for the concert at the Orange Public School hall where they performed a variety of traditional and newer children’s songs for the fundraiser.
“I was hoping we would raise about $3000 and we will make it,” Ms Thompson said.
