The usual, and very popular, Glee classes, ukulele and singing workshops and recording opportunities will be held during the next two weeks, but there will be special workshops offered to HSC and Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) students for the first time.
Guitar tutor James Buchanan said both examinations would be held in the coming weeks and the workshops were open to all students to build their confidence performing and enhance their composition and aural skills.
“The musicianship and aural components can get left by the wayside,” he said.
He said guest tutors would be part of the workshops.
“Teachers appreciate having a new voice to point out things to look at or reinforce what they’re already doing,” he said.
Mr Buchanan said students in performance workshops would be able to gain qualified feedback.
