Canobolas Local Area Command Inspector Dave Harvey said police attended four separate incidents at the same hotel within 70 minutes early on Sunday morning.
Inspector Harvey said at 1.30am police had to break up a fight between two men on Summer Street.
He said a man, 39, was issued with a criminal infringement notice.
Just 30 minutes later police and security guards had to separate two women who were “engaged in an altercation.”
Inspector Harvey said that matter was under investigation.
At 2.10am a man allegedly assaulted a police officer.
“He ran up and jumped into the back of the police officer, causing the officer to move back,” he said.
“The man was arrested and charged with assaulting police.”
The man, 26, from Orange has been issued with a court attendance notice to appear at Orange court.
At 2.40am police were called back to the hotel after a brawl broke out.
“Police had to forcibly remove one of the males.”
He said the man, 28, was restrained and arrested but other people nearby tried to interfere with the arrest.
“The group became abusive and confrontational with police.”
Security guards helped police at the scene.
Inspector Harvey said the man was charged with not complying with police direction and will appear in court.
The initial incident is still under investigation.
