Four of the Goldseekers Orienteering Club acquitted themselves well at last month’s World Masters Games in Auckland, where 1700 orienteers competed in sprint and long distance events.
The sprint competition was held at Auckland University, Anna Fitzgerald finished ninth in the W40A and Basil Baldwin came 13th in the M75A.

Basil and Jean Baldwin and Fitzgerald all qualified for the A Grade long distance finals, a course with a very complex countour detail.
They came 22nd in the M75A, 21st in the W70A and 11th in the W40A, respectively.
On Sunday, Goldseekers are holding easy, moderate and hard events at the northern end of Ophir Reserve from 10am.
