Nominations for the weekend meet were taking on Tuesday morning and initial numbers are extremely strong, with Towac Park’s trainers keen to crack it alongside the Western District’s best.
Trainers Michael Plummer, Alison Smith, Brad Draper and Lee Van Den Bos, fresh off a successful trip to Mudgee on Easter Sunday, have all nominated for the meeting.
Van Den Bos hasn’t nominated Loves A Hassle, but is hopeful Abstract Lady and Belfrey Bat can continue her stables winning form.
Plummer has Royal Abbey, Ephriam, Sovereign Default and Birdie Brown in the running, while Draper has nominated Yu Jin in the maiden and class 1 handicap. Smith has thrown Strada Prince into the benchmark 55 handicap.
Acceptances will be declared on Thursday.
