For the first time, the Cruisin-Along charity drive will host a raffle in Orange on April 29 to raise money for Western Care Lodge.

Now in its ninth year, the cruise takes to dirt roads across Australia to raise funds for Cancer Care Western NSW who built the lodge in Orange for regional cancer patients and Cruisin-Along organiser Terry Davis said the drive raised about $650,000 in total so far.
“We normally have an auction on the way around and the car people supply the auction items and what normally happens is we carry them all around and you buy one blokes and he buys another and we shift it from one car to another,” he said.
The auction will be at Waratah Sports Club from 6.30pm and cars will be displayed from 5pm and items can be dropped off at John Davis Motors.
The Cruisin-Along drive will take place from May 5 to May 13 and will include back-road drives to Lithgow, Goulburn, Temora, Hay, Cobar, Coonabarabran and Gulgong.
