Some see it as a chance for frivolous fun, others despise it as another example of Americanism being forced down Aussie throats.
There’s plenty of Orange residents who will have spent the weekend readying children’s costumes, stocking up on lollies and adorning houses with spooky decorations.
But if this sign hung on an Orange front door is any indication this home owner wasn’t among them.
As long as kids, parents and guardians abide by the rule of only trick-or-treating at houses with orange balloons there’s no reason for the two groups to meet.
