Why did you choose this job: I started as a dishwasher and then learned how to make coffee, I developed a passion for it and latte art. What is the best thing about your job: Latte art, it’s a skill you can always improve on. What is the worst thing about your job: Speed and consistency can be a challenge when you’re busy.
Where do you see yourself in five years: I adore coffee and love making it, owning my own cafe is a dream and the ultimate test of skills with running a business and all it entails.
What advice would you give someone interested in this job as a career: Start at the bottom, you’ll always start making average coffee but as long as you have a good mentor, you will improve, I’m still learning after 10 years.
