Jumbled and Iglou owner Pip Brett bought the premises after realising her homewares business had outgrown its Anson Street home.
Iglou will also move from its Byng Street cottage premises to the site.
“The masonic hall is a bit big just for Jumbled, so it will be good having it all in one spot,” she said.
Nimrod Nagy, who operates Nimrod's cafe in Lords Place, will also start a coffee business in the building.
“It’s in amongst the homewares, it’s all separate zones and businesses running in there,” Ms Brett said.
“I went overseas a few years ago and I saw a couple of concept stores with cafes and homewares and flowers and a little bit of everything and I thought I’d love to try something like that.”
Ms Brett said the renovations were on track and she hoped to be ready to open on September 8.

PENNYFARTHINGS first made a comeback in Orange at last year’s Bike Week event and they are now stocked in the CBD.
Peter Boulton of Ron Boulton Cycles said the pennyfarthing in the window had been a talking point since his father decided to stock one.
“People ask what it’s like to ride and whether I’ve ridden it,” he said.
“The trick is mounting it and dismounting it, that’s the art in them.”
Banjo awards up and running
THE Banjo Business Awards will be launched on Wednesday evening and the Orange Business Chamber says there will be a few changes.
President Mark Madigan said the award categories had been reduced and brought in line with the NSW Business Awards.
Instead of a popular vote nomination process, businesses could submit a written nomination and a panel of judges would arrive at a list of finalists by November 30.
A second round of written submissions would determine the winner.
Mr Madigan also said all nominees would receive an certificate at the awards night on February 25, with the winner announced while all nominees are on stage.
Nominations will open on October 3, closing on October 21.
