Reverend Stringer said the ceremony marked a new era for Orange Anglican Grammar School.
“There are key points in time where every school needs to celebrate their part of the journey – certainly a new headmaster is one of those times,” he said.
“Not necessarily for the headmaster but for the school to come together and celebrate its journey.”
From humble beginnings with a school building next to the church in 2007, the school has grown to more than 280 students.
Reverend Stringer said the Holy Trinity Anglican Church was the perfect venue for the celebration.
”The venue was a really fitting testimony to the foundations of this fantastic school,” he said.
“The ceremony recognised everyone who has contributed to the life journey of the school.”
