The Kangaroos are probably wishing they could play every weekend down in Tasmania after giving the Richmond Tigers a fair thumping. It was one way traffic almost from the opening bounce down there.
I can’t see things working in their favour as easily this time around though.
The Geelong Cats took on the vastly improved Giants last week in a game they had to win to get them going again after Carlton (yes, Carlton) handed them a heavy defeat the week before.
They did it the hard way, but the fact is, they did it and I think it will hold them in good stead for this game.
As for the Kangaroos, well, I see another dose of reality coming up for North Melbourne ahead of a tough couple of weeks.

Sunday evening sees the Sydney Derby unleashed on the Harbour City and it is difficult to see the Swans losing this one.
They have been one of the real form teams of the competition of late defeating the Hawks, North and then the Gold Coast in terrible conditions last week.
The Giants are looking for a form revival after a couple of losses on the trot, but you could think of much easier teams to try to do that than the Swans in the form they are in.
I see a repeat of their Round 3 clash in which the Swans ran away with it in the end.
This is the toughest part of the season for the young Giants but they need to find a way to get through it, otherwise their good form earlier in the year may not be enough to get them finals bound after all.
Still, you can’t ask for a much tougher assignment at this point in time.
