Instigated by Rev Jeannette McHugh in 1999, the service has grown in popularity and she has been invited back this year.
World War I took a terrible toll on the district with 22 young men killed on foreign battlefields and another 14 dying from wounds.
Focal point of the Toogong service will be the memorial in the grounds of St Alban's Church erected by the Irvine brothers and unveiled in 1924.
A bugler and piper will add to the solemnity of the service.
Resident Marion Gosper, who is helping to organise the service, says the whole community is involved.
“We have war memorabilia in our local store and two windows have been beautifully decorated with poppies,” she said.
To get to the Toogong service travel 10km from Cudal on the Forbes/Eugowra road.
The tiny church sits on a hill overlooking the district.
“The Cabonne Food Wine and Cultural Centre in Cudal will be open and you can have a home cooked breakfast from 7am,” said Mrs Gosper.
Another Cabonne service will be held at Cudal from 10am at the Memorial Gates.
Everyone participating is asked to meet at the school and march to the gates.
