The train service provides an express service from Bathurst to Sydney's Central Station, leaving Bathurst at 5.49am and arriving at Central at 9.27am on weekdays.
In the evening, it leaves Central at 5.52pm and arrives in Bathurst at 9.35pm.
A NSW TrainLink coach service would be provided from Orange to meet the morning and evening trains on weekdays, reducing the day return journey from Orange to Sydney by 30 minutes and reducing fares by up to 40 per cent.
