IT WAS double delight last night for PYBAR Mining Services Pty Ltd as it picked up two gongs at the CGU Banjo Business Awards, including the jewel in the crown - business of the year.

In front of 400 attendees at the Orange Ex-Services’ Club, the company was awarded the top accolade for all-round business excellence.
“PYBAR Mining demonstrates excellence in all areas of business,” judges noted.
“Their ability to grow in what is a highly competitive and globally sensitive business is demonstration of their strong capabilities.”
The company also picked up the excellence in manufacturing, mining, agribusiness and industrial service award.
PYBAR Mining Services started as a three-person operation more than 20 years ago, and through working in partnership with clients to reach their goals, they have grown to a major national mid-tier mining contractor.
PYBAR was one of several businesses awarded across 26 categories.
CGU Banjo Business Awards Committee chairman Mark Monaghan said plenty of well-known businesses were recognised on the night.
“They are a very popular businesses that people use day to day,” Mr Monaghan said.
More than 260 individual businesses were nominated for awards, with thousands of public votes cast.
