POLICE are appealing for information after two girls were allegedly approached by two men in a ute at Orange on Tuesday.

Police have been told shortly after 10am two girls, aged four and seven, were playing in the front yard of a home in Maxwell Avenue when a green utility stopped outside the home.
They said the men spoke with the girls, who became frightened and ran inside and told a family member.
Police from Canobolas Lakes Local Area Command are investigating the incident and are looking for two men who may be able to assist with the investigation.
The men have been described only as being of African appearance and spoke with a strong accent.
The utility was described as being painted bright green.
