For the first time Orange will contest the under 21 age group, a championship division that has been re-introduced at this year’s carnival.
Naturally, the age division will take time to build and as a result Orange will be faced with a diminutive pool compared to the traditional under 17 and open categories.
Taking on Charlestown in their first game this morning, Orange will then face representative outfits from Blacktown City, Gosford, Hills, Hastings Valley, Wyong District, Newcastle and Campbelltown netball associations.
The three-day championship is one of Netball NSW’s largest marquee events, drawing over 130 teams from 71 associations in total.
Orange boasts a wealth of talent coached by former State League star Kellie Watson.
ORANGE: Ellie Lawry, Georgia Duffy, Katie Matthews, Kirstin McIntyre, Lucy spicer, Mikayla Riley, Shannon Kavanagh, Rebecca Kales, Tayla Wasson, Rebecca Smith.
