Skippering CYMS in the 2012-13 Orange District Cricket Association first grade competition, Colley completed a stellar season with representative caps for Orange, Mitchell, Western Zone and, for the first time, NSW Country.
Helping the Bush Blues take out the Australian Cricket Country Championship undefeated, Colley edged former Cavaliers team-mate Richie Venner in this year's vote, with the Cavs skipper snaring 37.7 per cent.
Venner was nominated after scoring an unbeaten 222 for Cavs in a 40-over game against Waratahs in round one of the ODCA's 2013-14 season in October.
The pair's dominance of the vote was immense, with third place falling to the two-time Blowes Clothing Cup defending premiers Orange City, with the Lions mustering 9.3 per cent of the vote.
The Lions defeated Parkes 32-16 to win back-to-back crowns and lengthen their unbeaten run to 36 games over two seasons.
