A BRIEF will be prepared for the Coroner following the death of a teenager hit by a vehicle near Dubbo on Saturday evening.

Police have been told the 16-year-old boy was struck by a Holden utility on Old Dubbo Road, 10km south of Dubbo, about 8.40pm.
Paramedics arrived a short time later, but the boy died at the scene.
The utility driver, a 24-year-old man, was taken to Dubbo Base Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Police from Orana Local Area Command are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and hasn’t yet provided a statement to come forward.
Officers have also seized a quad bike, which they have been told the teenager was riding beside the road shortly before the collision.
