A 17-YEAR-OLD male has died in a single vehicle accident at Marrangaroo, near Lithgow, early Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to Reserve Road just after 1am (Saturday July 13) after a Toyota Rav4 left the road and rolled.
It’s believed the driver swerved to avoid hitting a kangaroo.
The front passenger, a 17-year-old male, died at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, was taken to Nepean Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The rear seat passengers, two 18-year-old men, were taken to Lithgow Hospital as a precaution.
Police from Chifley Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
