It’s the first time the new school has lined up to provide a carols in the courtyard event for the Orange community.
Primary coordinator Clare Miller said students were excited about the night.
“Each grade will have two songs and [there will be] singing in between by the choir,” she said.
Mrs Miller hopes the event will promote a sense of community within the school.
“There will be a mix of Christmas songs and carols,” she said.
Mrs Miller said carol practice sessions have been ringing out throughout the school’s halls as students learn songs.
Each grade of students will have a costume and are excited to take part.
“Come along with the family, we’re hoping we can get some of the parishioners to attend.”
“It’s a great way to bring the town together.”
Entry is by gold coin donation with all funds to go to the St Vincent’s Christmas appeal and the Mercy Mission.
Carols in the courtyard will be in the centre playground near the canteen with access via Hill or Byng Streets.
Bring a picnic rug and torch.
The event kicks off at 7pm and songbooks will be available on the night.
l Please note: lit candles are not permitted to the event.
